Bike-Setup

Most spinning bikes feature 4 different settings: 2 settings by the saddle and 2 by the handlebar. The following images show you how to adjust these settings to suit you.

When your hip is at a 90 degree angle, the saddle must be at the same height as the top of your thigh.

The saddle must be moved as far forward as possible.

As a rule of thumb, the handlebar must be at the same height as the saddle. Placing the handlebar a little bit higher might be a help for pregnant women and people with back problems.
The distance from saddle point to the handlebar must be equal to the length of your forearm + 2-

If the bike has been set up correctly, your knee will be at a slight angle when the pedal is all the way at the bottom on one side, and your foot is parallel to the floor.

In order to find out whether the saddle has been adjusted correctly, place both pedals at 9 and 3 o’clock. The front leg must feature a straight line from the front of the knee to the point where the pedal is attached to the pedal arm.

If the handlebar is located correctly, your arms will be relaxed when you are sitting down.
