Heat tolerance

What does ”heat tolerance” mean?
When you train, your body improves its ability to regulate its temperature. In this way, your body becomes better at cooling itself down and heating itself up to an optimal temperature to ensure that you do not overheat when it is hot and that you do not freeze so easily when it is cold.

Once the body temperature regulation system improves, you will, amongst other things, start sweating more when training in warm surroundings. If you consider yourself unable to sweat, you will probably notice that you are capable of sweating when training on a regular basis. In other words: the fitter you are, the more you sweat.

Be aware, however, that some people sweat more than others. This does not mean that the person, who sweats the most, is also the fittest.
