Can you provide first aid?

As an instructor in a fitness center, it is your responsibility to ensure that each member have a safe and good training. But what is a "safe" training?

Do you for instance think that it's okay, that an instructor who is responsible for up to 100 participants on a team can not provide first aid?

In most centers there is a procedure for what to do in such cases, so who call 911, etc., but there is no legislation requiring that the instructor must be able to administer first aid!

Should the legislation be amended in this area?
